Steve's the only person visible, at the moment. There's a jet nearby, the situation's being monitored, but right now and out there? It's just Steve. No helmet, but in a dark flight suit, shield in place on his arm.
Looking almost aggressively human, as he watches the figure emerge from the wreckage. He doesn't move. Doesn't say anything. Just watches the scene from some distance.
The debris is alien. Not really even recognizable as a ship of any sort. The person who staggers out is pretty alien too, but also not so far off human Steve doesn't recognize them as a person. He's got shit experience with aliens, he really does. But nothing about this reads like much more than somebody who survived a plane crash. The shakiness are a pretty big clue.
And it's Steve.
So he approaches cautiously, prepared for one hell of a fight and to call back up. He doesn't approach with outright aggression, though.
He clears his thought as he approaches - moving down toward the lake, but from enough distance to give him room and time to respond. "Looks like you've got a pretty big problem."
